WHERE TO EAT IN KENMARE

Kenmare would be a very well-known foody town in Kerry. Its full of highly acclaimed and award winning restaurants and many would offer the best in locally sourced products.  We have included some restaurants worth checking out.

THE LIME TREE RESTAURANT

This restaurant and art gallery building dates from 1832. Exposed stone, original pine wood and open fireplace add to the ambience. The restaurant is open 7 nights from 6.30pm between April and October.

LA CASCADE RESTAURANT

Dining at Sheen Falls Lodge is a truly memorable experience. La Cascade is an elegant, classical dining room. This restaurant offers fine dining which offers your taste buds a culinary feast of the best of fresh, local Irish produce while the extensive wine cellar offers the opportunity to pick the perfect accompaniment to any dish.

CASEY’S BISTRO

A place where design is contemporary, hospitality is instinctive and the atmosphere is easy going. Food is a passion and a range of classic favorites are served with a modern twist.

FOLEY’S SEAFOOD & STEAK RESTURANT

This long established, family run restaurant with chef proprietor specializing in fresh seafood, prime steaks, Kerry mountain lamb and vegetarian meals, making full use of fresh organically grown produce such as local farmhouse cheese and homemade pastry and bread. There is also a Children's Menu available which ensures that the tastes of the younger customers are catered for. A wide range of wines are also on offer with approximately 200 listed. There is a private function room with bar for larger parties. In the main restaurant a resident pianist plays, with the night often closing on a sing along.
