RECIPES FOR JUNE

June is a great time for green vegetables, such as courgettes, spinach and rocket.  We’re also in season for the lovely Wexford strawberries.  Wexford is famous for its strawberries.  They seem to be sweeter and more delicious and they say it’s because it’s the Sunny South East. The closest we will get in Ireland to the Mediterranean!

There’s nothing like munching strawberries on a Wexford beach with the wind blowing and if you’re lucky a little sunshine through the clouds. There is nothing better. 

This month, we have a lovely bacon, courgette and blue cheese soup recipe, ribeye steaks with chilli sauce and chocolate mousse with strawberries.
