The Celtic Thunder 2017 US Symphony Tour kicks off in Miami, FL on 14th of November 2017, following Celtic Thunder’s 10th Anniversary Cruise. This will be the second Symphony Tour for Celtic Thunder, who will depart from their traditional and critically-acclaimed large set productions to perform ‘Fan Favorites’ and some brand new material from their ‘Inspirational' album & 'Christmas' DVD, in a dynamic live music experience accentuated by the instrumentals of a full symphony orchestra.

St Canice’s Cathedral and Round Tower are an essential part of the structural heritage in the vibrant medieval city of Kilkenny in the heart of Ireland's Ancient East. A CATCH UP WITH EMMET CAHILL

NATIONAL PLOUGHING CHAMPIONSHIPS IRELAND
The National Ploughing Championships takes place each year in the month of September. The 2017 Championships will be held at Screggan, Tullamore, Co Offaly from September 19th – 21st 2017.
The first inter- county ploughing contest took place in 1931 as a result of an argument between two lifelong friends, Denis Allen of Gorey, County Wexford and JJ Bergin of Athy, County Kildare. Each argued that their respective counties had the best ploughmen.
